I fix RVs
for a living.
I trained through the National RV Training Academy in Texas — the Advanced RV Service Technician Program, 188 contact hours of hands-on labs and testing on fundamentals, air conditioners and heat pumps, exterior systems, absorption refrigerators, and water heaters and furnaces — and hold the RVTAA Certified RV Service Technician credential. That matters because RVs are a house, a truck and a boat's worth of systems bolted together — propane, 12-volt, 120-volt, plumbing, refrigeration, hydraulics — and most of the bad repairs I see come from guessing at one of them.
Nicole and I moved to Arkansas City and started Holt Brothers Mobile RV to be the tech we wished we could find: shows up when he says he will, tests before he replaces, tells you the number before the truck pulls up. We'd rather undersell a little and surprise you with good service than promise something we can't keep.
