Walkthrough

What a visit
actually costs.

  1. Service call — $150. Charged on every visit. It covers getting to you and the diagnosis.
  2. Labor — $150/hr, one-hour minimum. Time on the rig, billed by the hour after the first.
  3. Travel — usually nothing. No mileage inside 30 miles of Arkansas City. Beyond that, $3 a mile, quoted before we leave.
  4. Parts — only with your OK. Cost plus a fair markup. Nothing is ordered until you say yes.

Questions folks ask

Before you call.

Is the $150 service call charged every visit?

Yes. It covers the drive, the diagnosis and the first look at your rig, and it applies to every visit including return trips for ordered parts. It is separate from mileage: within 30 miles of Arkansas City there is no travel charge on top of it.

What if it takes less than an hour?

Labor has a one-hour minimum. A 20-minute fix is billed as $150 service call + $150 labor = $300. Most calls are diagnosed and repaired inside that first hour.

When does Priority Service apply?

Only when you ask for it and we can come right away — a slide stuck out at checkout, no power the night before you leave. It bills at $250 per hour instead of $150, plus the standard service call. If we can't come immediately, you're never charged the priority rate.

How are parts billed?

At cost plus a fair markup. You approve every part before it's ordered, so there are no surprise line items.

Do you do warranty and insurance work?

Yes. Manufacturer and extended-warranty repairs and insurance claims — including hail and lightning damage — are priced case by case because every claim is different. We work directly with your insurance company and adjuster; call and we'll walk you through it.

Can you give a quote over the phone?

We can give an honest range and tell you what to check first. Sometimes a five-minute phone call fixes it and we don't charge for that. A firm number needs eyes on the rig.
